Natural features of the site were the inspiration for the colours and finishes promoting an interesting stimulating environment for early education.

The architecture is purposely low scale to resonate with young children and early learning. Due to the site and adjacent Shore Playing Fields, the school is situated within a landscaped setting. Low energy buildings have been orientated to maximise cross ventilation and daylight penetration while limiting heat gain. Classrooms are arranged around a central courtyard providing high levels of visibility.
